Details: Trichoderma viride is registered for the control of root rot(macrophomina phaseolina) in Black Gram. Use 4 gm per kg seed as preventive. use 10 gm per lit water drench the soil around plants susceptible to wilting HOW TO USE GUARD (TRICHODERMA VIRIDAE) Crops: Eggplant, Potato, Chilli, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Cut and Pot flowers, Orchards, Vineyards Ornamentals in greenhouses, lawns and nurseries etc. Target Pest and Disease: Pythium spp., Ganoderma spp., Rhizoctonia solani, Fusarium spp., Botrytis cinerea, Sclerotium spp., Sclerotinia sp. and Ustilogo spp, etc. It is used to control root rot , damping off , wilt etc. Method of application: Suspend Trichoderma viride in sufficient water (5g/L) to achieve uniform application. Apply at the rate of 100-200 g per cubic metre (loose) of greenhouse potting mix, soil or planting beds. Trichoderma viride can be applied through low pressure watering nozzles such as fan nozzles or other watering systems (drip system) after filtering with filters. Agitate to maintain suspension. For best effect, treat potting mix several days before use for seeding or transplants. For bulbs & Ornamental: Dip bulbs in Trichoderma viride suspension (100 g/L) prior to planting Frequency of application: Two to three applications in vegetables ornamentals and 4-5 applications in lawns and landscape crops are recommended. Applications during early stages of plant growth protect the plant during critical stages of development.
