Cucumber beit alpha produces Gynoecious plants and are rather forgiving than other cucumber varieties. The mildly flavoured seedless fruit has very thin skin and doesnï¾’t need to be peeled. They can either be consumed raw or pickled. Cucumber beit alpha also has a good shelf life. Pick fruits once they are 4 to 6 inches long for best flavours. The small-spined, crispy sweet cucumber fruits can be used as a slicer or pickling variety.
