Weeds pose a significant threat to crops, especially soybeans, which are a crucial commercial crop in India. If left unchecked, weeds can cause significant yield loss, making it essential for farmers to use herbicides. However, relying on herbicides with a single active ingredient often leads to the problem of herbicide resistance, resulting in increased expenses, wastage of time, and energy.
To combat this issue, vigilant farmers use herbicides with two active ingredients. Fortunately, such herbicides are available on the market, including Max-Soy, a wonderful herbicide introduced in India by Dhanuka Agritech Ltd. Max-Soy is the first of its kind herbicide effective in controlling Narrow and Broad-leaved weeds.
Max-Soy is a selective, systemic, and post-emergence herbicide with EC & WP formulation that delivers an excellent solution for Narrow and Broad-leave weeds in the Soybean crop. Its active ingredients block the function of an enzyme called Acetyl Carboxylase(ACCase) & acetolactate (ALS) actohydroxyacid synthase (AHAS) respectively, which helps the formation of lipids and Amino Acid(Proteins) in the weed plants. Without lipids and amino acid, susceptible weeds will die.
Max-Soy has a strong systemic action that moves in both ways through Xylem & Phloem. It is safe for the environment and maintains excellent crop health. It is safe for the Soybean crop and gets absorbed by plants within an hour to give optimum efficacy. It provides outstanding control of Narrow and Broad-leave weed in the Soybean crop at a low dose of 150 ml/acre. Another essential feature is that it does not show any phyto-toxicity, reducing weeding expenses and giving freedom from repeated manual weeding, leading to saving manual labor costs in herbicides application. With Max-Soy, farmers get more yield, hence more profits.
